For the past three years, St. Elizabeth R-4 has been recognized for extraordinary academic accomplishments in our annual performance review at the state level, earning 100% in our Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) report. With newly renovated classrooms, a new roof and future playground construction anticipated, we have much to celebrate in our great district.
Programs are strong here in St. Elizabeth. At the elementary level, Accelerated Reader has proven to increase students’ performance in reading comprehension, and our students continue to demonstrate success on both the Stanford X and MAP tests. Our high school students have the opportunity to earn money for college through the A+ program, and many of our students earn dual credit through ITV and Central Methodist University. We partner with Eldon Career Center to allow interested high school students to train for career paths from agriculture to health occupations. These are important accomplishments thanks to the continued efforts of our students and staff, as well as support from our dedicated school board, involved families and our citizens.
I look forward to continued success for each of our students, preschool through twelfth grade. Excitement and creativity are already taking place in our classrooms, and we continue to strive to reach new challenges. It is a privilege to be a part of St. Elizabeth R-4, a community that values our children and our school. Thank you for all you do for our children!
